If Your Offer is Not Accepted
- Write again to your creditor asking that your offer be reconsidered.
- Include with the letter the amount you offered.
- If you creditor is refusing to freeze interest and other charges do point out that your offer was based on interest being frozen, otherwise the debt will not reduce.
- If your creditor persists in refusing the offer you have made they can do nothing to get their money back without going to court. (see Info on Courts)
- If your agreement is a hire purchase agreement and you have paid back one third of the loan your creditor cannot repossess the goods automatically. (See Info on Hire Purchase)
