People are referred to MABS by a wide range of other organisations, in particular by charities, other State services, and representative groups. It is important that referrals to MABS are appropriate and that people know what to expect and how MABS works.
It is very important that people come to MABS because they want to. The MABS process only works when people voluntarily work with us to sort out their finances. For more information about MABS for Referrers see our Leaflet for Referrers(PDF).
