Vacancies: Two (2) Administrators - Specified Purpose Contract, Part Time, Waterford & Limerick
The Money Advice and Budgeting Service (MABS) is a national, free, confidential and independent service, providing advice and support to people in debt or in danger of getting into debt. Each MABS company is rooted within the communities they serve and staff work with clients to enable them to cope with immediate debt problems and assist them to develop good money management skills.
North Munster MABS is currently seeking
One (1) Administrator
Specified Purpose (until approx. 31 December 2021), Part Time (17.5 Hours per week)

The MABS Administrator position provides reception, secretarial and administrative support to the Company. The responsibilities of the Administrator will include records management, financial recording, data collection and database maintenance. Candidates must display empathy with those who find themselves in financial difficulty; familiarity with the provision of an advice, support and advocacy service; together with excellent communication, organisational, administrative and IT skills. Applicants must be proficient in spoken and written English and be legally entitled to work and reside in Ireland. Skills testing may apply.
The full time salary scale for these positions is €27,844 to €41,093 (including 2 Long Service Increments (LSI)). It is anticipated that new entrants to the MABS service will be appointed on the 1st point of the scale. Incremental credit, should it be awarded, will be based on previous relevant experience as set out on the application form and covering letter.
Panel of Qualified Candidates
A panel will be formed of qualified candidates from which temporary, part-time Administrator posts which arise in the North Munster Region comprising the Counties of Clare, Limerick, Tipperary and Waterford within the next six months will be filled should vacancies arise in this period.

MABS has a normal retirement age which is linked to the State Pension Age in Ireland (currently 66).
