Vacancy: Administrator (Temporary Part-time), North Donegal MABS
North Donegal MABS is recruiting a temporary part time Administrator on a Specified Purpose Contract (20 hours per week from January 2018).
The Money Advice and Budgeting Service (MABS) is a national, free, confidential and independent service, providing advice and support to people in debt or in danger of getting into debt. Each MABS company is rooted within the communities they serve and staff work with clients to enable them to cope with immediate debt problems and assist them to develop good money management skills.
The MABS Administrator will provide full reception, secretarial and administrative support to the Company. The duties of the Administrator will include records management, bookkeeping including payroll, data collection and database maintenance. Candidates must display empathy with those who find themselves in financial difficulty; familiarity with the provision of an advice, support and advocacy service; together with excellent communication, organisational, administrative and IT skills.
Salary scale: current Administrator scale is €27,844-41,093 inclusive of two long service increments (LSI). This salary is pro-rata for part-time appointment. It is anticipated that new entrants to the MABS service will be appointed on the 1st point of the scale. Incremental credit, should it be awarded, will be based on previous relevant experience as set out on application form.
